Wahoo is a simple CMS or Content Managed System website.

It’s a website that allows you to manage the content of your site yourself without the need to know anything about code or HTML at all. You can do this from anywhere in the world where you can access the web and you don’t need any special software on the computer you're using. You have a username and a password that enables you to access the hidden administration controls of your site.

At the more expensive end of the market sites are designed and built by web developers and a content management system is ‘bolted on’ to the back end so that clients can change their own text and photos etc. At the cheaper end of the market you can buy off-the-shelf solutions where you build the whole site yourself from scratch, but these are either pathetically basic or else they come with a bewildering array of functions built by nerdy geeks.
